1. Account numbers are never displayed. Instead of displaying account numbers, each account is given a pseudo name that can be changed by the customer at any time.
2. Social Security Numbers and Employer Identification Numbers are never displayed. To keep these numbers confidential, a row of X's appears in place of the numbers.
3. Valid NetTeller Identification Number and PIN are required. Only your valid NetTeller Identification Number and PIN will allow you to sign on to First Bank NetTeller. If these numbers are incorrectly entered three times in a row, the account will be locked to prohibit further entries.
4. Automatic Log-Off. After 10 minutes of inactivity on the online system, your session will be terminated and you will be automatically signed off.
5. Encryption. Encryption means to "scramble" the data so that the transmissions can only be read by First Bank. First Bank recommends 128-bit encryption (which is supported by the updated versions of most browsers); however, the online system can also support 40-bit encryption.
